Need Mental Health Help in Mesa, Chandler or Gilbert?

You do not have to know your diagnosis or choose a treatment before reaching out. Mesquite Valley Integrated Health provides psychiatric care for children, adolescents and adults at our Mesa office, serving Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert and the surrounding East Valley.

Use the guide below to find a starting point. These pathways explain appointment options; they do not diagnose a condition or replace a clinical evaluation.

Call our intake team: 480-509-7738 or request an appointment.

“I’m struggling with anxiety.”

Ask about a psychiatric evaluation for worry, panic, avoidance or related symptoms. Tell the provider how symptoms affect your routine and what you have already tried. Explore anxiety care.

“My child may have ADHD.”

Ask about a child or adolescent evaluation. Share the child’s age, concerns at home and school, and any previous testing or school observations. Child psychiatry and ADHD evaluation are useful starting pages.

“I think I have ADHD.”

Ask about an ADHD evaluation and describe attention, organization or impulsivity concerns, including when they began. An evaluation considers other possible explanations and any overlapping concerns. Read about ADHD care.

“I’m depressed and medication isn’t working.”

Request a psychiatric evaluation or treatment review. Bring a list of medications, doses, how long you took them, side effects and any therapy you have tried. Explore depression treatment.

“I have OCD.”

Ask about evaluation and treatment for intrusive thoughts or repetitive behaviors. Describe how much time symptoms take and how they affect life, even if the thoughts feel difficult to discuss. Explore OCD care.

“I’ve experienced trauma.”

Ask about an evaluation for trauma-related concerns. You can begin by describing current symptoms and what you hope will change, while discussing your comfort level with the provider. Learn about PTSD care.

“I need medication management.”

Contact intake about a medication-management visit. Have your current medication list and previous prescriber information ready. Tell the team about refill timing when scheduling; an appointment does not guarantee a particular prescription. Read about medication management.

“I’ve tried multiple medications.”

Ask about a treatment-history review and whether additional options should be considered. TMS, Spravato and ketamine infusions have different indications, eligibility requirements and risks. Your provider can explain which options, if any, fit your situation.

“I don’t know what I need.”

Call 480-509-7738 and explain the main concern in your own words. Intake can help identify an appropriate starting appointment and discuss availability, insurance and the patient’s age.

Common questions before reaching out

Should I see a psychiatric provider or therapist?

A psychiatric provider can evaluate symptoms and discuss medication when appropriate. Therapy focuses on concerns, coping skills and behavior through conversation and structured approaches. Some people use both. Intake can explain available services, and a provider can help clarify the care plan.

Where will my appointment take place?

Our physical office is at 560 W Brown Rd, Suite 1011, Mesa, AZ 85201. Ask which visits are available by telehealth. We serve Chandler and Gilbert residents from Mesa.

How do I check insurance and costs?

Call with your insurance card and the service you are seeking. Ask about the specific provider, referrals, authorization and estimated patient responsibility. Benefits vary; verification is not a guarantee of payment.

What if I need immediate help?

Routine appointment inquiries are not emergency care. For a medical emergency or immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
